The next day Callie explains she went with it for a minute and was then like “WTF, he like boys!”.  Erika says he was clearly showing off for his brother.

 

 

Time for another band rehearsal with Josh.  This time it’s in the house.  I think these expressions say it all.

 

Erika goes off on a rant about why can he get a band when he has no talent.  This bit with Emily though is pretty priceless.

 

 

So Josh’s girlfriend calls during rehearsal and Erika slips into the room like a ninja.

 

 

She attempts to hijack Josh’s band by singing for them.  Then Josh comes back.  He explains that they have this unspoken musical competition and she’s jealous because he’s meeting a bunch of bands and she can’t find one.

 

 

Erika goes off on this long rant about how as a female musician it’s so hard to find a band, which is pretty much bullshit.  Emily confesses that if she doesn’t find musicians soon she’s so sick of hearing Erika complain she’s just going to go find musicians for her.  In the confessional room Josh and his band are talking about how awesome they are and how they have 3 songs so they’re ready to play shows.  Umm….no.  Just no.  Anyway back to Erika’s bitching.  Mike says she thinks a band is just going to come out of thin air.  Also this is where she confesses the other guys asked her to reschedule and she didn’t respond because “if they cancel 15 minutes before then they’re unreliable”.  But also she only woke up 15 minutes before.  They could have gotten in the car and it wouldn’t start.  Shit happens.

 

 

Mike takes his mom to lunch with some people from HRC.  They tell her all about it and she’s cool with his involvement.  She admits that when she was trying to get married she’d already had Mike and there were churches who wouldn’t marry her because of it and she can’t even imagine how much worse it would have been if she’d have been trying to marry another woman.

 

 

Back at the house Erika rehearses.  Emily and Ashley think she’s afraid to share her music and Emily thinks it really weird she’s having so much trouble finding people to play with.  And then super crazy scary Erika emerges:

 

 

That’s right she calls her boyfriend 14 times.  In a row.  Instead of leaving a voicemail like a normal person.  Then she cries about it.  Scary crazy.

 

Mike in the meantime is now taking his family on a tour of HRC.  He talks about being gay with them and his mom said she knew way before he ever said anything.  This is his sisters best ever reaction:

 

 

Anyway they head home and everything is ok.  And that’s this week’s episode.
