The Real World Washington D. C. Episode 7 – Recap

It’s presumably the next day and everyone is going to play lazer tag.  Emily is psyched.

Emily lazer tag

One of the teams is the Terrible Pterodactyls and the other is Quadruple Penetration 4000.  I dunno.  Kids these days.  Anyway everyone is excited and Ashley is on the phone with her friend telling him how excited she is.

Ashley on the phone lazer tag

The problem is there’s only one phone and they need to call cabs.  So Erika pretty much yells at her to get off the phone and then when she does she calls her a bitch.

Erika you're a bitch

The shit has hitteth the fan.  Ty sums things up nicely.

Ashley doesn’t get along with Erika because neither of them listen.

Bitches be crazy yo.  The next part is really funny and I wanted to give you video but the video converter is being a bitch.  But this is Erika’s dialogue in the cab.

I don’t like Ashley.  She said I was being inappropriate.  What does that mean?  I asked her to get off the phone, how is that inappropriate?  Inappropriate would be like “Could you get your vagina off the phone?”

Oh as much as you’re being annoying this episode I do love you for that one Erika.  Emily’s confessional is just as good.

Oh my goodness I just got the best teammate ever because Erika wants to kill Ashley!

That one is more funny because of how she says it.  Emily is super competitive in case that’s slipped by you in the past.  So they play lazer tag and I’m not including pics of it cause it’s mostly footage of blinky lights in the dark and nothing happens except team Pterodactyl wins and Emily says this:

Lazer tag is fucking awesome!

Back to the house. Erika mops.

Erika Mops

She says the whole house is a mess because of Andrew, Josh, and Ashley.  There’s drama and Ashley calls Erika a spoiled brat which leads to the best facial expression ever from Emily.

Emily's best face ever

I love when someone on this show does something that even the other people on the show are shocked by.  She reacts like calling her a spoiled brat is like the worst thing you could ever call someone.  It’s kind of weird.  Like everyone gangs up on Ashley cause apparently that was over the line.

Ugh is this over yet?  A little later Ashley pulls Erika aside and attempts to apologize with an apology that’s all about her and that just makes Erika angrier.  Erika tells her she’s just done with the friendship.

Now we’re moving on.

Mike calls Eric

Mike calls Eric (apparently I spelled it wrong the first half of this recap) and somehow they start talking about whether Eric would be upset if Mike made out with a random girl.  He’s like duh yes.

Mike dances with a girl

The next scene everyone including Eric are at a bar and Mike is dancing with some chick.  Eric isn’t very happy about this but Erika tries reassuring him.

Eric, Erika, and Callie think Mike's gay

Mike is just all like “I’m not looking to fall in love with anyone.”  Anyway the next day Mike is thinking about ending things with Eric and Erika is coaching him on how to properly break up.

Erika not being annoying

She tells him that she thinks he wouldn’t have gotten upset if he didn’t care for Mike and Mike is all like “but it’s only been 3 weeks”.

Eric and Mike

Eric and Mike have a very serious talk and Eric is kind of upset that Mike isn’t out to everyone in his life.  He “doesn’t want to be a lesson”.  They pretty much break up.

OK so I screwed up and have no screengrabs for this next section cause I accidentally saved the same segment twice.  However this is what happens.

It starts with Andrew trying to clean the microwave and having no idea what he’s doing for a nice comedic break.  Then Eric calls Mike and they have another serious talk and Eric apologizes.  They’re just going to hang out for now.

At dinner everyone is talking about relationships and Callie can’t even find a dude to make out with (I humbly volunteer my services).  Erika tells a story about her and her boyfriend how they were friends and eventually everything worked out and Ashley makes a bitchy comment about how she’s heard that story a bunch of times.  Erika leaves the restaurant and stands outside crying.  This is where the “I’m going home” line comes into play.  Emily accuses her of running away and Ashley is all like “Whatever go home”.  Oh and PS all of this is outside the gay sports bar Nellie’s the guys got tricked into going to a few weeks ago.

hug it out

And we’re back to a screengrabbable section.  And the gang is back at the house.  Callie and Emily talk Erika out of leaving.  There’s more words between Erika and Ashley.  I don’t know why they just can’t leave each other alone.  Oh because they’re children, that’s right.

The next day the two have a sit down.

Erika, Ashley, beanbags

Erika tells her she won’t talk about her behind her back and she’s just going to avoid her.  They say they are going to respect each other.  All the drama is over and everything is all good.  And with that another episode bites the dust.

There’s no “Next On…” but there is a “Later This Season…”  That shows Josh doing some creeping, Erika loving her boyfriend and Andrew being taken away in an ambulance.
